It doesn’t matter if you’re with me 24/7
what matters is when you’re with me when it counts
it doesn’t matter if you didn’t do the things you said you would
what matters is that you do those things when it counts
it doesn’t matter if you show up late
it just matters when you show up when it counts.
it doesn’t matter if you make me promises
it just matters when you follow through on those promises when it counts.
it doesn’t matter if you depend on me
like I depend on you
it only matters when it counts.
After all… it only matters when it counts.
