Holiday Snow Kisses

Not sure what to bring to your holiday get-together this year? Make your contribution a real crowd pleaser with meringue kisses (aka. Holiday Snow Kisses)! These delectable Holiday Snow Kisses (Meringue Kisses)bite-size treats are 100 percent fat-free but fair warning, they are loaded with sugar!

What you’ll need:

  • 6 Egg Whites
  • 1/4 Tsp. Cream of tartar
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 and 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla (extract or imitation)
  • 6 Egg Whites
  • Parchment Paper
  • Handheld mixer

First, preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Next,  line two large cookie sheets with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, add egg whites, cream of tartar and salt. Beat mixture until soft peaks form. Next, add sugar and vanilla. Beat on high until mixture yields stiff peaks.

Meringue kisses in ovenUsing a regular tablespoon, dip out mixture onto lined pans and swirl each top to form small peaks. Place meringue kisses in oven for about 45 minutes. Once done, carefully remove each meringue kiss from parchment paper and place in cello gift bags for decoration or eat right off the pan! This recipe yields about 40 meringue kisses.

Goes great with coffee and hot cocoa.
