Glass Houses

Those fancy people, in their fancy clothes

living in their pretty glass houses

staring, judging from their windows

but they do not know for whom the bell tolls

Whispering to one another

how they are so much better

staring, judging from their windows

but they do not know for whom the bell tolls

Funny how it appears to them

Schadenfreude is all they know

staring, judging from their pretty glass houses

knowing not for whom the bell tolls

In those pretty glass houses – in their copious environment

staring, judging from their windows

there will come a day, when these bourgeoisie

are the ones for whom the bell tolls.
