Glad I found this post by you. I had been having the same discussion on a thread on facebook. Since Oklahoma just passed a law requiring protesters to stay 1000 feet from any military funeral, whether it was constitutional or not. You gave me the best answere I found. Thank you.

Hi Carol Ann, I was so happy to see your posting about Bradley McGee. I just published my memoir ‘She Ain’t My Sister’ by Linda Ivy Cooper. This is my story of child abuse survival. The link to my book is included here.

I lived in Lakeland at the time of Bradley’s death. His story is told in my book. I have tried and tried to make contact with Kip Liles to let her know his memory lives through my book. I hope you can help me make contact.

Hi Carol, My book ‘She Ain’t My Sister’ is my memoir on child abuse. It is dedicated to my brother who passed away October 27th. As you can imagine my heart is broken. I am determined to continue telling our story of abuse as the hands of our adopted parents. I previously inquired about the story you wrote on Bradley McGee. I wondered if you were able to make contact with anyone associated?

Hi Linda — yes, I did reach out to Kip; however, you will need to give her some time to respond. She is aware of your wanting to to speak with her and was given your contact information. She has some things going on her life, as you might imagine. But I assure you once she is able to communicate with you, she will.

I seldom write responses, however I looked at a great deal of responses here Guest Posts CarolAnnB – Insight, Philosophy, Social Media & More. I actually do have a couple of questions for you if you tend not to mind. Is it simply me or does it seem like a few of these responses look like they are left by brain dead individuals? And, if you are posting on additional online social sites, I’d like to keep up with you. Would you list of every one of your social networking sites like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?

Kip and I have spoken numerous times thanks to your help! It was wonderful to finally tell her that Bradley was included in my book. Amazing was the connections we didn’t know we share. Linda, I am so pleased that you were finally able to make the connection. I am even more happy for you being able to not only publish your book, but to bring some closure to such a difficult past. In completing your book, you have made that all-important step to closing a painful chapter of your life and you have opened the doors to a life of fulfillment, personal peace and happiness. Everyone deserves a second chance in life — your courage and your determination to persevere demonstrates to others that not only can you survive such horrible circumstance, but that you can thrive! I am very proud of you! On another note, I think it bears mentioning that there are no accidents in life, only events that shape us into the people we are and the folks we happen across throughout that lifetime. I am honored to have met you and to have introduced you to Kip. The article was amazing!
